Chat – Responding to Feedback

The chat system for responding to incoming employee feedback

Once employees have submitted feedback, administrators, supervisors, and department managers (for their own department) can respond to it via chat.

Anonymity is maintained (anonymous mode)

When the company uses CompanyMood’s anonymous mode, employees remain anonymous when submitting feedback. Managers can respond to a comment at any time using the chat button to reply to the feedback.

Initiative by managers

A chat dialogue can initially only be started by managers (admins, supervisors, and department managers). This means there is no direct pressure to respond to feedback in real time – employees have already signaled their interest in an exchange through their feedback. Whether feedback is addressed directly or handled in the general cycle of evaluations and improvement measures is left up to the company and its managers.

We recommend responding directly via chat to critical or particularly important topics. This saves time before the general review of feedback and demonstrates a strong interest in team input. The more feedback that is answered directly, the higher the motivation to participate.
